Vintage Venetian Blown Glass CANDLESTICKS Topaz w Enamel and Gilding, Bobeches. Gorgeous Italian candlesticks with bobeches, decorated with floral enamel handpainting and gold scrollwork. The stems are reverse air-trapped teardrop shape. The measurements are 12″ tall, with the base measuring 5.75″ in diameter. The bobeches are each 4.25″ wide and 1.625″ deep. There are no chips, cracks, cloudiness or any other damage. These would have originally had a label when first produced, but the label is no longer present. When I see other pieces like this, they’re often advertised as being made by Salviati – but there have been MANY other makers of this type of glass in Italy over the years, so with no maker’s mark there’s no way to be 100% sure of the glasshouse that produced this set.
