This listing is for a gorgeous pair of Sterling Silver 9.5 tall Art Deco style candlesticks made by the Mueck-Carey Company of New York in business during the 1940’s-50’s. Measure 9 1/2″ high with a 4 1/8″ diameter base and 2 1/8 top opening. Total weight 480 grams. These lovely candlesticks are decorated with matching elegant reticulated/pierced floral bands just above the bottom and above the pedestal shaped base. The candlesticks are solid Sterling Silver and are not weighted. The silver has great original patina and polishes beautifully. Both candlesticks are in excellent Estate condition with no damage or noted flaws reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear. There is a very faint no-harm ding on the body of one candlestick that is barely noticed but is called for accuracy. We believe the Mueck-Carey Co. Was absorbed into Towle Silversmiths in the 1950’s.
