Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A PAIR OF CLASSIC VINTAGE STEUBEN CRYSTAL MID-CENTURY 8 ROPE TWIST CANDLESTICKS. These striking candlesticks have beautiful clarity in the crystal which Steuben is known for. The candlesticks have a distinguishable rope twist pedestal and heavy, thick solid glass base. This popular pattern was designed by George Thompson in 1939. Measure 8″ high with a 4 3/8″ diameter base. Top holds a 1 candle. Each candlestick weighs 3 pounds for a combined weight of 6.0 pounds. Both candlesticks are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs although there are a few minor surface scratches on bottom from normal use.
