Vintage Elsa Peretti “Bone” Collection Candlesticks. Elsa Perettis jewelry is well-known and a celebrity favorite and while her home accessories are less high-profile, they are cherished and sought-after. The Bone candlestick is a highly successful Peretti/Tiffany icon and a beautiful example of mid-century modern design. For nearly 40 years Elsa Peretti has been designing objects and jewelry for a host of high-end companies including Oscar de la Renta and Halston. Since 1974, she has designed exclusively for Tiffany & Co. And many of Tiffanys. Most iconic and enduring pieces, such as these candlesticks from the “Bone” collection, have been designed by Peretti. Perettis candlesticks are one of the best examples of the form created during the 20th century; sinuous, elegant and timeless. And they also happen to be in the collection of the British Museum. This pair is from my personal collection and is in excellent condition. Especially considering their age. I have owned them for nearly 30 years, and they were likely manufactured in the mid 1970’s.
