Made by Hugh Crawshaw of Trinity Street, Sheffield, this beautifully crafted footed candle holder is made from 48.9g of solid 925 Sterling Silver. With a fluted design and clear hallmark that shows the makers mark H. C, the assay mark for Sheffield, the lion passant confirming the fineness of the metal and the date letter U for the year 1994. The overall diameter is 7cm and it stands 3.25cm tall. It will take a candle with the maximum diameter of 1cm. In very good condition only displaying general wear commensurate with use, this candle holder is a fine example of age British craftsmanship. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OVERSEAS SALES.
