VERY heavy glass, weights 3.7 lbs. This is a wonderful, vintage 1960s pair of Koi Fish or Dolphin, vaseline glass, candlesticks made by the Imperial Glass Company for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. These are signed candlesticks with the letters MMA on the bottom. They are large, candle holders measuring approximately 3.75 inches wide by 10.5 inches in height. These are exact, reproduction pieces of early candlesticks which were probably originally made by The Sandwich Glass Company. They depict a large, statuesque fish on a square base with a 6 petal, floral candle holder, stem extension at the top for a candle. These candleholders are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks and would make a great addition to anyones glass collection.
