This is a stunningly beautiful pair of candelabra candlesticks in great condition, especially for their age. They are not without flaw, as there are a couple of candle cups that are just a little bit dented, see picture, its very subtle and minor. Also, two of the candle cups on one of them dont seem to tighten all the way, but again this is very minor, and does not affect how they look or function. You dont notice unless you handle them, which is not often going to be the case I would assume. They are otherwise very solid, and are quite heavy at 8 pounds each. They look somewhat oriental in style, especially given what appears to be Whooping Cranes around the base, which would imply that they are Japanese, but I do not know this for certain. What I do know is that they have some significant age, with my educated guess being around 100 to 120 years old, and they have very nice patina. I opted to not clean them up, so there are small bits of candlewax that I may not have gotten off, but theyre fairly clean in that regard.
