These stunning candle holders are made out of solid brass and are quite heavy. I’ve left them in their original condition without polishing them as I feel their built up patina is much more beautiful than a shiny brass finish. They are in excellent condition for their age, the only thing to note is that one of the screws on the wings has been replaced with a flat head one and looks different than the originals. The wings have a slight movement, I believe this is to achieve different poses depending on the level of adjustment.
