A rare fitted boxed set containing a pair of sterling silver squat candlesticks and sterling silver inkwell (complete with glass insert / liner) – all three pieces hallmarked for Birmingham 1912 and maker William Davenport. Some wear to the stems of both candlesticks with evidence of a repair to the stem of one (see close up image). Some light denting to the base rims of all three pieces – doesn’t compromise the set and they are still perfectly usable and both display nicely. Some wear to the exterior of the box with the lining damaged to one end. The candlesticks measures 60mm tall x 55mm wide at the base. The inkwell measures 35mm tall x 65mm wide at the base. My items are all used, vintage or antique and so will have signs of usage and wear from a past life. As always, please view the images to help judge condition.
