Lovely pair of matching Ercol Candlestick Chairs (model 376) were made in the 1950s judging by the shape of the seat. They have beautiful lattice crossed candlestick back supports with matching stretchers. Maximum dimensions: H79.5cm x W46cm x D45cm. The seat height is 43cm and the seat size (max) is W40cm x D43cm. These stylish, practical and versatile chairs have been carefully and sympathetically refurbished by a qualified craftsman. They are in a very strong and solid condition, with no damage and only the natural wear and signs of use commensurate with furniture of this age. The chairs were carefully hand-stripped and repaired by a professional qualified cabinet maker. He ensured they retained their patina and their age-related character. He then treated them with high quality clear furniture wax, which brings out the chairs natural colour and shows off their grain and patina.
