Vintage pewter candlesticks circa 1900 featuring Neo-Classical Greek or Egyptian Revival female figures with flowing drapery, carrying the candle holders like ancient urns or water jugs atop their native headdresses. Interestingly, the candle fitting/ openings have slightly different diameters, (as you can see in the photo, one candle fits down more deeply than the other), but the resulting difference in candle height could easily be remedied by burning one candle longer or trimming at the bottom. In a way this variation is positive because it shows that some handwork went into each piece. Nice, hefty pieces with beautiful, Classical design to grace your table for any season.
