Striking set of latticed and spindle backed solid wood’Candlestick’ chairs. Lovely shape and design. Manufactured by Ercol of Higher Wycombe, Buckinghamshire in the 1960’s. English elm seat pads, beech legs and spindles. General signs of wear. All of which is commensurate with time and general use. One of the chairs has an indentation in the seat pad. It also appears that a single spindle has been fixed at some point in the past. It has been repaired strongly and cleanly and is firmly complete. These chairs have not been refurbished. They would benefit from a general clean and bee’s wax polish. Please refer to photographs. Includes a set of four seat pad cushions. With zips and cloth. One pad is missing a single.
