First, I apologize for my camera and lighting. The shirt is not quite this yellow (the lights are yellow), but it IS old and not pure white, either. It is more white than the photo shows, however. My husband went to this concert and got this shirt in October, 1981 – 38 years ago yesterday. He never wore it because it did not fit him – it was labeled LARGE. He DID immediately wash it to remove the sizing chemicals as he does with all new clothes before he wears them. Also in preparation to wear it, he cut out the neck tag (he hates those). So, while he tried it on after washing and removing the label, it was worn less than 1 minute before he was certain he would not be using it after all. At his insistence are now downsizing after all of our years of collecting stuff. So, here it is!! Remember that back in 1981, the size LARGE was different than it is now. These days, it is more like a MEDIUM, I feel. Measurements are – 18-1/2 from Pit to Pit. 30-1/2 from top back neck to bottom of shirt (hem, of sorts). I DID recently rinse this out by hand in plain cool water since it has sat so long in storage. It was kept in a dry, protected area and is from a no smoking, no pet home.
