Pair of Stunning and Stylish Vintage 1960s Ercol Candlestick Chairs Carefully Refinished. This superb pair of matching Ercol Candlestick Chairs (model 376) were made in the 1960s. They have beautiful lattice crossed candlestick back supports with matching stretchers. Truly a timeless design classic. These stylish, practical and versatile chairs have been carefully and sympathetically refurbished. Made from elm (seats) and beech (frame) the chairs are in extremely good vintage condition. They are in a very strong and solid condition, with no damage and only the natural wear and signs of use commensurate with furniture of this age. The chairs were carefully hand-stripped, retaining both the chairs patina and the characterful, age-related, marks. The chairs were then treated with high quality clear furniture wax, which brings out the chairs natural colour and shows off their grain and patina. Felt pads have been added to the legs, to protect flooring. Please see the images in close-up to check the chairs condition. Maximum dimensions: H79.5cm x W46cm x D45cm. The seat height is 43cm and the seat size (max) is W40cm x D43cm. I may also be able to deliver the chairs beyond this, depending on distance, charging only for fuel costs.
