Offering a set of six matched glass candle sticks in a deep purple, amethyst color. In some lights they are almost black. These beautiful candle holders measure 9.5″ in height and 4.5″ across the base. They hold a 1 diameter candle and each glass candlestick weighs over 1 lb. The glass is very ornately patterned and features a snake like figure coiling around the center stem. The base features three creatures that look like salamanders or eels or long fish, curving down the sides to form three little legs that lift the base up. None of the candlesticks have any chips or cracks. There is a slight roughness here and there in places along the molds lines. Some of the candle holders have a small old paper sticker that says Made in Portugal. I know these candlesticks were never used because they came out of a family member’s estate.
